Level 3 sex offender moves to Moylan Township

A Level 3 sex offender has moved to Moylan Township, Marshall County.

A community notification meeting about Jack Warren Nomeland, 63, will be held Tuesday, June 13 at 6 p.m. at Grygla School.

Nomeland moved Saturday, June 3 to a home in rural Goodridge, according to information from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office. In areas with a smaller population, the Minnesota Department of Corrections doesn’t provide the specific address of homes where Level 3 sex offenders live.

Level 3 sex offenders are classified as those sex offenders who are most likely to re-offend.

Nomeland has a history of sexual conduct with girls ages 5 to 12. The contact included fondling and attempted penetration. He gained access to the girls, whom he didn’t know, by enticing them into his residence.

Nomeland is not wanted by law enforcement and has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.

Nomeland is described as a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 192 pounds. Nomeland has a medium build and a fair complexion.
