On July 21 at 8:14 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of an accident on 140th Street Northeast. At the time of the accident, Katrina L. Jensen of Goodridge was driving an eastbound 2005 Ford Focus. According to the report, she looked at her unidentified passenger and veered off of the road. She then overcorrected, and the car rolled. Jensen was taken by private vehicle to Sanford Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Theft, fleeing and driving after revocation
On July 25 at 12:32 a.m., law enforcement received a report of a theft at Walmart. Amy Lynn Cook, 28, Red Lake, has charges pending for fleeing, theft and driving after revocation. Alexis Leigh Brun, 24, unknown address, and Michael James Stately, 30, Red Lake, both have charges pending for theft. A 17-year-old female with an unknown address has charges pending for theft. They allegedly stole merchandise at Walmart and then fled. The Red Lake Police Department stopped the vehicle using stop sticks. The four of them then jumped from the vehicle and fled into a nearby wooded area. Three of the four were located and taken into the custody of the Red Lake Police Department. The report doesn’t list the dollar amount of the merchandise.
On July 23 at 8:48 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of property damage
at 218 Broadway Ave. S. Someone had tried to get into the coin receptacle and cut some locks on sheds.
On July 23 at 10:42 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of property damage at St. Hilaire Supply. Someone had tried to get into a storage shed.
Disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process
On July 29 at 9:09 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of a disturbance at the Thief River Golf Club. Hans Andrew Harder, 22, Thief River Falls, has been cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. He was arrested. Harder, who was intoxicated, was allegedly walking around with his pants down at his ankles. A sheriff’s deputy tried to help and Harder resisted.
On July 24 at 11:23 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of a theft at Seven Clans Casino, Hotel and Water Park. Someone had stolen a wallet belonging to an Eau Claire, Wis., man.
On July 26 at 5:37 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of a theft at a field crossing near the intersection of Center Street and 190th Avenue Southwest. Someone had stolen a Strathcona man’s wallet out of his parked vehicle.
On July 26 at 9:57 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of a theft at B & B Auto Recycling in St. Hilaire. Someone had stolen transmissions and rims.
