Felony methamphetamine-related crime involving children and vulnerable adults, gross misdemeanor fifth-degree controlled substance crime and warrants apprehension
On Jan. 24 at 10:30 a.m., police, the sheriff’s office and Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 522 Sixth St. W. Vyetta Chris Longo, 35, Thief River Falls, has been charged with a felony meth-related crime involving children and vulnerable adults, and gross misdemeanor fifth degree controlled substance crime. She was arrested. Kyle Travis Edgar, 33, Thief River Falls, was arrested on warrants. Inside a bedroom, law enforcement allegedly found a small gram style bag inside a cell phone cover. According to the complaint, the baggie and suspected meth weighed 0.6 grams. Law enforcement also found a bong made out of an old Mountain Dew bottle in the bedroom closet. It contained suspected meth residue. Longo’s bedroom is near her juvenile son’s bedroom. In the basement, law enforcement found a glass pipe hidden in an old Styrofoam cooler. Law enforcement believed the pipe was used to smoke meth.
From Jan. 24 to Jan. 26, police received several reports of vehicles and houses being egged throughout the city.
Possession of a small amount of marijuana
On Jan. 20 at 4:14 a.m., police received a report that someone had rammed into a vehicle at 1011 Alice Dr. Upon arriving, police found the vehicle parked in a garage and couldn’t find any damage related to what Melissa Diane RodriguezSenum had told officers. A small amount of marijuana was allegedly seen in the vehicle. Rodriguez-Senum, 40, Thief River Falls, has been cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana.
False emergency telephone calls
On Jan. 20 at 2:48 p.m., police received a report that a woman was continously calling 911 from 1011 Alice Dr. for non-emergency complaints. Melissa Diane Rodriguez-Senum, 40, Thief River Falls, has been cited for false emergency telephone calls.
Disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process
On Jan. 20 at 5:33 p.m., police received a report that, at 1011 Alice Dr., a woman was yelling out her window to call the cops. Melissa Diane Rodriguez-Senum, 40, Thief River Falls, has been cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. She was arrested. Rodriguez-Senum allegedly became boisterous after officers arrived. Neighbors were fearful of her behavior. When told she was being charged with disorderly conduct, Rodriguez-Senum wouldn’t cooperate and began to resist police.
Driving while impaired
On Jan. 20 at 10:04 p.m., police performed a traffic stop near the intersection of Second Street and LaBree Avenue. Jaden Jon Kruse, 21, Thief River Falls, has been cited for DWI.
On Jan. 23 at 9:23 a.m., police received a report of a theft at Pennington Square. Randy Arthur Thunder, 32, Redby, has been cited for theft. He allegedly stole lottery scratch-off tickets.
On Jan. 22 at 5:04 p.m., police received a report of a theft at Eastside Tesoro. Randy Arthur Thunder, 32, Redby, has been cited for theft. He allegedly stole two lottery tickets.
On Jan. 23 at 5:10 p.m., police received a report of a theft at Northland Village, 1518 Hwy. 1 E. Someone had stolen a DeWalt drill and charger.
