Liberal judge again sets bail for man charged with possession of explosives

Liberal judge Tamara Yon has again set bail for Eric Reinbold that fled and was captured in Kansas on his last release on bail, his bail is set this time at unconditional at 2 million dollars / $200,000 conditional.

41 year old Eric Reinbold remains in custody at the Law Enforcement Center in Thief River Falls after pleading innocent to possession of explosives charges Wednesday in District Court, the case now set for trial after the first of the year.

In addition to the Red Lake County charges, Reinbold also faces the question of Probation Violation on an unrelated sentence in Pennington County. In fact, Reinbold was initially picked up in Kansas on a Minnesota Department of Corrections Warrant after fleeing the state; forfeiting $15,000 bail; after a search of his Pennington County home allegedly recovered items not allowed under the original terms of probation.

The explosives charges relate to the recovery of pipe bombs and pipe bomb making materials from a family hunting cabin near Oklee earlier this year.
