Another big fail for the Pennington County Attorney’s Office

Not guilty.

That was the verdict yesterday from a Pennington County Jury, finding Steven Besserud, 56, innocent of Assault Charges, accused of pointing a military style weapon at a Thief River Falls Police Officer.

The decision came on the second day of the trial, with jury selection Monday, jurors deliberating about an hour and a half before acquitting Besserud of all charges.

Besserud was charged with Assault in the Second Degree by the Pennington County Attorney’s Office last April, accused of pointing the weapon at Police Officer Mark Bruggeman during a health and wellness check at a home on Markley Avenue.

Thank god, that the more serious crimes than this are handled by a Attorney from the Cities, so INEPT Rogalla can’t fuck up all the cases….And to think this clown teaches classes at the college….TRFPR

  1. For sad. No wonder why crime rates rise in our city, these criminals do little or no jail time at all. And also, absolutely no regard for law enforcement.
